Hi! My name is Julie and I make candles in vintage containers! I hope to bring some joy into your home by giving a new life to rad secondhand treasures.

Candle FAQ!

Why candles?

In 2020 I began I became obsessed with making my house as cozy and possible - candles provide the perfect ambiance!

What materials do you use?

All candle vessels are pre-loved - either sourced in person at thrift/antique stores or from eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, etc! I use 100% soy wax, and all fragrances are phthalate free.

Help! My candle has melted!

Exciting - you have two options! You can deliver it back to me to be re-filled, or clean it out for its second life! All vessels have alternate purposes - bowls, cups, planters, etc! To coordinate re-filling, email julie@sollysundries.com

Safety

When it comes to candle safety, the most important thing is constant supervision, as fires most often happen when candles are left unattended. To significantly reduce the likelihood of a fire, trim your wicks, light your candles on a sturdy surface, and keep other objects away from the flame. For more tips on safely burning your candles, please review the following guidelines, provided by the National Candle Association: https://candles.org/fire-safety-candles/
