How do I clean my melted candle container?
Method One: Freezer
Method Two: Hot Water
Put your candle in the freezer for a few hours - this will make it easy to remove the remaining wax! Use a spoon to scoop everything out.
Use a disinfectant wipe or some rubbing alcohol to get rid of extra bits of wax coating around the sides.
Give your vessel a little hand wash in soap and warm water to finish it off!
Your vessel is ready to be re-used as a mug, planter, bowl, etc :)
Boil water and pour into the candle vessel. Let it sit for a few hours - the wax will melt and rise to the top!
Remove the hardened wax and pour out the water. Repeat Step 1 if all of the wax didn’t melt and rise to the top!
Give your vessel a little hand wash in soap and warm water to finish it off!
Your vessel is ready to be re-used as a mug, planter, bowl, etc :)
